Copperfield vs Cruiseazy. Who is crazier?
David Copperfield has just put himself into the running for top honor of "craziest bastard of the year". Although he is a late comer to the contest, his entry makes up for his tardiness. He is claiming that he has found the "Fountain of Youth" in the southern Bahamas, amid a cluster of four tiny islands he recently bought for $65 million. "I've discovered a true phenomenon," he told Reuters in a telephone interview. "You can take dead leaves, they come in contact with the water, they become full of life again. ... Bugs or insects that are near death, come in contact with the water, they'll fly away. It's an amazing thing, very, very exciting." Okay, first of all, my biggest question is this...WHERE IN THE HELL DID HE GET $65 MILLION? Did he walk into a bank vault and make all the money disappear into his wallet? Secondly...em..what? How about you put down the bong water and come down, because I can't see a dead leaf that has fallen off the tree magically coming back to life...considering it is not attached to the tree...which provides its life. Third...um...you might want to bathe in some of that because...really...Dooney & Bourke is calling and they want their "all weather leather" back okay. [SMH]
1 Comments:
Supposedly he made $57 million in 2003, 2004, and 2005. So he probably can swing 50 mil fairly easily.
