Let's make a connexion

So, there is this website called Connexion that some people describe as the "gay myspace", but I beg to differ. There are gays and straights on Myspace, and Connexion is specifically for gays and a random few straight "fruit flies". You can do SO MUCH more with your profile on Myspace than you can on Connexion. I would say it is more comparable to Friendster, only more gay. ANYWAY, I was taking a looksee at some of the profiles today and I came across the profile of a guy that listed his relationship status as "in a committed relationship, but....". First of all, the word "but" totally negates the whole phrase. Committment means one-to-one, unless you specifically mean that you are committed to sleeping with other people while you are in a 'monogomous' relationship with someone else. Secondly, you can't really call it a committed relationship if you are sleeping with other people. Call me crazy, but I call that being a slut, so it should read..."in a committed relationship, slut...". Third, maybe I am completely off base and the two ARE in a committed relationship and they bring in a third party on occasion and have rules involved in that. BUT, in this instance I don't think that is the case considering the guy also says..."We are both so different I never sit still.. And the other half well.... lets just say i check his pulse to make sure he's breathing..." Who says that about their boyfriend? If he is that dead then why not just break up with his ass and get your slut on? On people he wants to meet: "Just normal people...What is normal? Well... If you got on a small yellow bus when you went to school chances are we dont have a lot in common." SO CHARMING, I am gonna IM him immediately and see if I can't jump into bed with him. I don't think anyone on connexion would really have ridden the short bus, considering people that rode the short bus are most likely in group homes and are not looking for "committed, but" types of guys. Then again, the things he says makes me think he might have ridden the short bus and is a little bit retarded. I can't say that I am shocked that he hasn't made any "connexions" aka "friends" despite being a member since December of 2005.
